Replace your Six-Pack or Avidyne Entegra Panel with the Avidyne 12″ Touchscreen Flight Displays for Your Cirrus Aircraft

Exclusive NexAir Savings — Vantage 12 features large 12-inch LCD touchscreen displays for Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multifunction Display (MFD) that provide significant improvements in display size, brightness, and processor performance over legacy systems, while retaining the ease of use synonymous with the Avidyne brand.
The Avidyne Vantage system integrates with the Cirrus Entegra OEM harness and connectors. Retaining both the engine interface units (SIU or DAU) along with the original Heads Up Technologies XM receiver make for an easy, affordable upgrade to the legacy instrument panel.
The Vantage 12 package comes with both 12″ PFD and MFD and has an optional second “redundant” ADAHRS. The aircraft must be equipped with a pair of Avidyne IFDs, either dual IFD440s or a IFD550/540 and IFD440 combination and a DFC90 autopilot. It is recommended to have a Skytrax 200 that will integrate ADS-B traffic to your existing SkyWatch active traffic system, but it is not mandatory.

NexAir Avionics stocks a full set of panel and overlays to match your existing aircraft panel layout. Our Vinyl Carbon Overlays are installed on the instrument panel, backup bolster panel, and throttle quadrant for no extra cost.
Vantage 12 Packages for the Cirrus are as follows :
$47,600 Basic Vantage 12 Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multifunction Display (MFD)
Vantage 12 features large 12-inch LCD touchscreen displays for Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multifunction Display (MFD) that provide significant improvements in display size, brightness, and processor performance over legacy systems, while retaining the ease of use synonymous with the Avidyne brand.
Vantage 12 includes Synthetic Vision with 3D display of nearby terrain, traffic, obstacles, airports, and flight plan overlay, plus a hybrid touch user interface that enables pilots to control the system with touchscreen or dedicated knobs and buttons.
Each Vantage 12 display features an integrated Attitude Reference Sensor (ARS), providing dual-redundant input to the DFC90 digital autopilot for enhanced safety and reliability—allowing the MFD to mimic PFD functionality and for the autopilot to continue to fly the aircraft in the unlikely event of a PFD failure.
Note : Both Entegra PFD and MFD must be returned to Avidyne when upgrading to Vantage

Cirrus 6-Pack to Vantage Upgrade
NexAir Avionics has done several 6-Pack to Entegra upgrades and now are providing the capability to upgrade directly from a 6-Pack configuration to the new Avidyne Vantage 12 flight deck. The
The Vantage 12 was designed to replace the Entegra PFD/MFD Cirrus. The main area was the interface to the existing Entegra harness. A new harness must be fabricated to interface to the Vantage 12. There are several other additional items that also need to be changed to accommodate the larger 12″ Vantage displays. Depending on the serial number of your aircraft and if it is a SR20 or SR22 these are the items that need to be modified or changed to install Vantage:
- Avidyne (Entegra) Magnetometer
- SIU / DAU for EMAX if not installed
- Glare Shield (possible the windshield surround)
- Annunciator Panel
- Standby Attitude Indicator (14 degree)
- Bolster Switch Panel
Note : Additional cost of $5000 Each if you do not have an Entegra PFD and MFD to return as cores to Avidyne
To provide some costing (estimate) the following is a breakdown of the additional work require to update your 6-Pack Cirrus in preparation for the Vantage 12 upgrade.
$15,000 Cirrus 6-Pack to Avidyne PFD Provision: First step is to change the 6-Pack Cirrus to an Entegra PFD Cirrus. We will fabricate and install a Cirrus harness for an Avidyne Entegra Primary Flight Display (PFD). Install a serviceable Magnetometer in the right wing. Cut out the bolster for backup instruments. Move the Airspeed and Altimeter from the main panel to the backup bolster panel. Install a serviceable 14 degree attitude indicator. Change out the horizontal annunciator panel with a serviceable vertical annunciator panel. We will replace the existing glare shield with a serviceable PFD glare shield.
$17,500 Install Avidyne EMAX Engine Monitoring with DAU: If your aircraft does not have Avidyne EMAX on your Entegra MFD then then we will install new CHT / EGT Probes. Install Cirrus firewall bulkhead connector through the firewall. Install and wire a serviceable Data Acquisition Unit (DAU). Provide a new Glove box for the instrument panel. Note: This will remove your existing engine instruments.
